What We Do

Have you wanted to learn how to grocery shop for your family on a budget? Do you want to learn basic nutrition & cooking tips? Classes are 45 minute sessions, and participants receive a $10 grocery gift card. Classes are in English & Spanish.

Involving your young ones in the kitchen can bring so much joy to both of your lives. Learn how to make cooking fun for kids. Workshops with kids can be arranged.

About US
SLV Cooking Matters offers free weekly classes related to cooking healthy meals on a budget. Classes are in both English and Spanish, and can be virtual or in-person. Our audience is geared toward parents of young children, though adults and youth of all backgrounds are welcome and encouraged to attend. We collaborate with agency partners to offer nutrition classes to groups and families; please reach out if you would like to partner, as we are always seeking new connections.
