The 2nd Annual Harvest Swap and Seed Exchange took place in Antonito, Colorado on Saturday, August 29th. The day was windy, but the wind failed to dampen the spirits of those attending.

Speakers covered topics ranging from tortilla making to sustainable farming.

In the vendor area, the bounties of the summer harvest abounded, with cucumbers, squash, wild game, shared seeds, and so much beautiful produce to be shared.

The vendors and attendees enjoyed a community potluck with a variety of local delicacies. Sharing food and swapping stories is always a great way to build community and learn about our local food systems.

This is a project of the SLV Seed Exchange, sponsored in partnership with the SLV Local Foods Coalition.
